The Hornets were beaten by a very good and talented Newton side today. After the loss of the goal the boys did well to stay in the game and some outstanding saves by Jamie Owens kept us in the game. Unfortunately the Hornets were not firing on all cylinders and created very little up front to trouble the Newton keeper. On the day Newton deserved their win although there was not a great deal between the sides.
Jamies Owens was Man of the March.
