League but not so in the Chester & District U9's league. Just when rumours
of my impending resignation were surfacing and with "assistant" Elvey
chomping at the bit to take over the reins news has filtered through that
all is not lost. We shall be playing Upton Jaguars on Saturday (1 Dec) in a
play off game for the right to enter the Cup competition and the untold
riches that will follow if we succeed. Talk of an early christmas win bonus
are nevertheless a little wide of the mark.
After Saturday's tremendous display the boys will need to be at their best
if they are to progress. The game will be at home and I will let you know
the time for kick off as soon as I have further news on pitch availability.
